Dianne
Dianne (pictured on the left) worked at the Rumson Fair Haven High School Cafeteria for almost 20 years, then retired at the end of the 2023-2024 school year. However, she continuously returns because she misses the students and still loves being apart of the school community. Whether through conversation about weekend plans or giving a reassuring word about a difficult test, Dianne is always eager to connect with students. Her presence is one that cannot be replaced, and is cherished by students when she returns. Dianne brings something special to the school that goes beyond her role, which is why she is such an impactful part of the community.
Dianne’s greatest inspiration is her mother and sister, who have shaped the values she holds and hopes to share with RFH students. She stated that if she were able to give advice to her younger self, like how she gives advice to students, she would say: “always be confident. No matter what, have confidence, and be proud of yourself. Don’t stress out over things, take one day at a time, and do not be afraid. Roses and daisies look different, but they are both beautiful.”
